Numerous hurricanes have left trees topless and driftwood scattered on the beaches. Once a privately owned hunting ground, it is now a South Carolina public park.
Framed 16 x 20, $475
Starting this blog is going to have goals that are two fold. First, it will be a commitment to paint more on a regular basis,....which I will enjoy.... and second.... to take me out of my comfort zone by wrestling with this computer! Not my forte!

Rusted
On a recent trip with my daughter, I saw this rusty old tricycle in front of an antique store. The shadow pattern on the ground caught my eye as much as the object itself . The only tires that had weathered the years were on the back two wheels. This 16 x 20 is painted on a canvas panel board. The antiqued effect on the outside of the board immitates the feel of the rusty metal on the tricycle. $400
End of the Day
Lady Bug Hide Out
Rolling Pastures
In the Shade
Buddy and Hambone
These 16 x 20 paintings, "Pecking Order" and "Barnyard Watch" were sold as a pair. I love painting roosters! They have such wonderful colors, and definitely have an attitude!
A farm near my home has these beauties running around in the front yard. With permission, I photographed several, combined the roosters and hens, and came up with these compositions. The top painting is the one in the youtube video, posted earlier. View the "comment" on the video for more details.
