Afternoon Shadows

Because of rain on Monday, our plein air session was cancelled. I had taken this photo after a workshop in Newnan, and loved how the farm was washed in the orange glow of fall. Staying in the studio, I painted this 9 x 12, wishing I was back at this farm. It goes without saying, it was a beautiful afternoon! $325

    I am looking at my attempt of this picture. It needs some subtle color - I shall work on that

    Happy birthday and thanks so much for the great workshop. I learned a great deal that I can apply to oil, watercolor or pastel!!!!
